Born and raised in Asmara, Eritrea, Bethel and Helena- sisters and Designers of BethelHelena- were born for the Fashion business. Granddaughters to the leading Pattern Maker in the country, and daughters to a successful mother and father who were as business savvy as they were notable humanitarians, Bethel and Helena were blessed to be raised with the necessary makings to succeed in the Fashion industry.
The sisters came to the United States at a young age, ready to live the American dream. Initially, they pursued higher level education in the Academics, but eventually, they couldn't deny their talent and fore-sight on Fashion and its future. They took a bold step in pursuing it full force. After graduating with a B.A. in Fashion Design, a new budding label was born: BethelHelena.
BethelHelena is for the women who wants to show her originality, style and grace . . . for every woman. The sisters' touch blends sexy, fashion forward pieces with class and regality. Primarily a Ready-to-Wear Evening Wear label, BethelHelena also specializes in Bridal and Casual wears. The inspiration for each collection originates from their Gold Label, a line of higher-end gowns.
Thus, every silhouette, detail and design of a BethelHelena piece is made with true passion. Just as well, it is a reflection of an American dream, realized.
